Day 1 :
Arrival in Delhi
Arrive Mumbai, meet and transfer to hotel.
Afternoon city tour of
Delhi visiting, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat,
Shanti Vana, Laxmi Narain Te
mple,
India Gate, Parliament House, Rashtrapati Bhavan and
Qutab Minar. Overnight stay
Day 02,
Delhi - Cochin
AM transfer to airport for flight to Cochin. Meet
and transfer to hotel upon arrival.
PM city tour covering Jewish synagogue, Mattenchery
Dutch Palace, Jew Town and Fort Cochin area.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 03, Cochin
AM cruise on back waters of Cochin visiting
Bolghatty Palace, Chinese Fishing nets to see the
fisher folk in their colourful costumes.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 04, Cochin - Munar
AM, drive 150 / 3.5 Kms hrs to this hill station
located at a height of 1800 mets. The area is full
of tea plantation, vast variety of Flora and fauna
rivulets and waterfalls and abundance of wildlife.
Check in at hotel. PM visit the local observatory
and walk through the tea plantation etc.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 05, Munar - Periyar
AM drive 135 Kms 305 hrs to check in Hotel in
Periyar.
PM visit nearby wild life reserve by boat known for
its elephants and other wild animals. Also visit
nearby Spice Market.
Day 06, Periyar - Kumarkom
AM drive 115 Kms / e hours to check in at hotel in
Kumarkom.
PM walk around the village of the fishermen and
common folk
Optional - Ayurvedic Herbal Oil massage through
their health center.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 07, Kumarkom
Visit nearby Birds reserve
Optional - Ayurvedic Herbal Oil message
Day 08, Kumarkom - Cochin - Mumbai
AM drive 105 Kms / 3 hours to Cochin airport in time
for flight to Cochin. Meet on arrival and transfer
to Hotel for wash and change.
PM transfer to international airport for flight for
onward destination.
